I seemed to have done that by going to bed at night cause 4 times it happened that's exactly what happened I'd go to bed at night and upon logging into textnow the next day I'm so ruddly given the message a supposed 'voilation of terms' notice and account and phone number is no longer available.what the hell? The is the second and last time I've had used text now to where I had a phone numbers that I used regularly and had saved some messages or importance or sentimental value and used the phone number frequently and as my main not number, the first time I had a number for 7-8 years then for no apparent reason it was taken because I apparently wasn't using it as much to their liking. TEXTNOW IS NOW NOTORIOUS FOR SUDDENLY BLOCKING YOUR ACCOUNT SAYING U SOME HOW VOILATED THEIR TERMS OF SERVICE. Even though you sign up for a phone number if you don't use it every single day they take it away saying you didn't use it enough so gave it to someone else DONT USE TEXTNOW FOR ANY IMPORTANT CALLS. FOR ONE IF YOU ENJOY PRIVACY TEXTNOW IS NOT FOR YOU I say this because now they for some reason take it upon themselves to just help them selves in on going into your account and checking you calls and read your messages DON'T USE TEXTNOW FOR ANYTHING OTHER THEN A SHORT TEMPORARY NUMBER because if you don't use the number enough to whatever they think how much a number should be used. Textnow used to be a really good company I used there service for approx 7-8 years and would happily recommend them up until 2-3 years ago. I must have switched owners or something because over the past 2 or 3 years TextNow just totally sucks now. TextNow has completely overrated and does not even deserve a star! I'd give them 10 thumbs down if I had them.
